Rural Development category at the CSR Times Awards 2024!

We are thrilled to share that Bharat Forge has been awarded the Gold Award in the Rural Development category at the CSR Times Awards 2024! The honor was presented by Dr. Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa, at a distinguished ceremony held at Raj Bhawan's Darbar Hall. This accolade celebrates our unwavering commitment to driving sustainable and inclusive growth in rural communities through impactful CSR initiatives. From enhancing education and healthcare to improving sanitation and fostering entrepreneurship, Bharat Forge is dedicated to making a meaningful difference. IGBC Green Village Rating

We are thrilled to announce that six of our villages involved in our CSR initiative have earned the prestigious IGBC Green Village rating. Throughout the assessment process, 32 indicators across seven modules, including water conservation, village infrastructure, and health and hygiene, were rigorously evaluated, reflecting our comprehensive approach to sustainability. The village of Dhamner has excelled with a Platinum rating, setting a benchmark in global sustainability practices. This achievement underlines our efforts to integrate comprehensive sustainable measures that serve as a model for others. Similarly, the villages of Saygaon, Takale, Nagzari, and Rui have each been awarded Gold ratings, showcasing our strong commitment to maintaining national excellence in environmental stewardship. These villages have implemented effective strategies that enhance their ecological footprint and community well-being. Additionally, Targaon has been recognized with a Silver rating, highlighting our ongoing commitment to adopting and implementing best practices in sustainability. This rating reflects the village's dedication to improving its environmental and social health. In the future, we plan to continue these efforts and expand our reach to more villages, aiming to further enhance our impact on sustainable village development across the region.

Life time achievement award 2023

Mahatma award recognize and celebrate social impact leaders and change makers across the globe. Dr Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Forge has been honoured with “ Mahatma Award 2023 for Lifetime achievement in Sustainable Business Practices”. This award stands as evidence of his meaningful societal contributions towards sustainable progress. The award was received by Dr. Leena Deshpande, Head CSR – Bharat Forge in an event held at Delhi on 30th September 2023 at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The award was given from the hands of Lord Raj Loomba CBE – Member of the House of Lords (Crossbench Peer) Founder and Chairman Trustee, The Loomba Foundation and in the presence of Mr. Amit Sachdeva – Gandhian Founder – Mahatma Award- Mahatma Foundation and other dignitaries

Mahatma Award for CSR Excellence 2023

Bharat Forge was also honoured with the prestigious "Mahatma Award for CSR Excellence" in recognition of our efforts and dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), highlighting our steadfast commitment to making a meaningful impact. The award was received by Dr. Leena Deshpande (Head CSR, Bharat Forge Ltd.) and Team on 30th September 2023 at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Best CSR Project of the Year Award 2023

Bharat Forge Limited received the "Best CSR Project of the Year Award 2023" by UBS Forum in the 7th Edition of Corporate Social Responsibility Awards, held on 14th March 2023 at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai. We are grateful for this recognition and thank our team and partners for their dedicated efforts.

Amity CSR Award 2022

Bharat Forge was declared the winner of the prestigious Amity CSR Award, 2022 in the Manufacturing Sector category on October 29th, 2022. We were declared winners among 54 companies that participated, This Award was given at Amity Global Business School, Pune.

The CSR Journal Excellence Awards 2021

Bharat Forge was declared the second runner-up in "The CSR Journal Excellence Award 2021" under the category of "Agriculture & Rural Development".

This award was given by Shri. Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Hon. Governor of Maharashtra.

Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon'ble Union Cabinet Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, and other eminent government officials were present for this function.

The award function was held on March 20, 2022, at Yashantrao Chavan Centre, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The award aims to honour innovative and best practices in the sphere of Corporate Social Responsibility in India.

MCCIA Annual Awards 2020

Bharat Forge Ltd. was declared the winner of "The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) Annual Awards 2020", for excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.

The award was given at MCCIA Annual Award Function on 11th March 2022 at Balgandharva, from the hands of Mr. Amol Nagar -MD-GE India Industrial Pvt. Ltd. & Mr. Girish Wagh - Executive Director, Tata Motors Ltd.

The award is instituted in the memory of Late Mr. B.G. Deshmukh (IAS). It aims to encourage corporates to inculcate CSR as an integral part of their societal commitment in the field of health, education, livelihood creation, skill development and empowering the underprivileged.

MCCIA Annual Award 2020

Bharat Forge bags the prestigious "MCCIA Annual Award 2020"

Bharat Forge Ltd. was declared the winner of "The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) Annual Awards 2020", under Corporate Social Responsibility: (Instituted in the memory of Late Mr. B. G. Deshmukh (IAS)). This Award aims to encourage corporates to inculcate CSR as an integral part of their societal commitment in the field of health, education, livelihood creation, skill development and empowering the weaker sections of the society. The award ceremony will be held shortly.

Appreciation Award by Government of Maharashtra

Bharat Forge was felicitated during the "State Youth Skill Day Program" on 15th July, 2020, on the occasion of “World Youth Skill Day” by the Government of Maharashtra for contributing to the development of ITI Khed, ITI Malegaon & ITI Bhor in Pune district.

ITI Khed has been awarded Best Institute Award successively for the second year.

The online program was organised by Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and chaired by Hon. Minister Shri Nawab Malik.

The Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Excellence

The Golden Peacock Award is regarded as a benchmark of Corporate Excellence worldwide. Over time, it has become a hallmark of excellence, both locally and globally.

This benchmark award was awarded to Bharat Forge at the prestigious International Conference. This win instilled a new confidence and reiterated our belief of giving back. The Award was jointly presented by Mrs. Rajashree Birla, Chairperson, Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development and Director on the Boards of Aditya Birla Group of Companies and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Cyriac Joseph, Lok Ayukta Kerala, Former Chief Justice of Karnataka and Uttarakhand High Courts, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Former Acting Chairperson and Member, National Human Rights Commission.

CSR Leadership Award at National Swachhata Summit 2019

Bharat Forge was honoured with the “CSR Leadership Award” at the National Swachhata Summit 2019 organized by CSR times on 19th February 2019 at New Delhi. The award was presented by Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of State.

Pune Zilha Parishad Appreciation Award 2019

Bharat Forge received the Pune Zilha Parishad Appreciation Award in the year 2019, for its corporate social responsibility initiatives at the Zilha.

Appreciation Award by Government of Maharashtra

On 15th July, 2019, on the occasion of “World Youth Skill Day” Bharat Forge Ltd. received an Appreciation Award by the Government of Maharashtra, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department. 32 Industry Partners were felicitated at the Sahyadri Guest House at Malabar Hills, Mumbai.

This was the first award received by the Company in the hands of Shri. Vidyasagar Rao - Hon' Governor and Shri. Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar - Hon' Skill Minister for its outstanding commitment and dedicated support as the Industry Partner for developing and upgrading ITIs at Khed, Bhor and Malegaon. Our ITI Khed also received the award as the Best ITI in the Pune region.

Appreciation Letter from Kalewadi village, Taluka Purandar, Dist. Pune

Bharat Forge received a letter of appreciation at the Anjir Parishad organized on 28th January, 2018 at Saraswati Mangal Karyalay, Saswad-Pune road, Kalewadi (Dive), Tal. Purandar, Dist. Pune to support & motivate farmers who are involved in Anjir production. Nine farmers from different districts. were also awarded for the excellent quality production of Anjir.

Kalewadi farmers were also the recipient of this award. For many years they were fighting with drought conditions, but due to the Bharat Forge Water project the farmers have assurance of water even in summer which has given a boost up to the productivity of the three fruits - anjir [figs], custard apples and pomegranates.

The ‘Thank you letter’ was given by the farmers of Kalewadi to our respected CMD. The award was accepted by Ms. Leena Deshpande from Shri Pawar Saheb.

India CSR - CSR Professional of the Year Award

India CSR, world’s popular CSR Newswire, awarded Ms. Leena Deshpande with ‘CSR Professional of the Year Award’ for her outstanding contribution to CSR space at India CSR Awards held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Bengaluru in the presence of more than 100 CSR leaders.

The award was presented by Mr. T.B. Jayachandra, Hon. Minister Law, Parliamentary Affairs, Animal Husbandry, Karnataka State.

2016 Indywood CSR Excellence Awards

Bharat Forge received the Indywood CSR Excellence Awards, organized by Indywood Film Carnival on 26th September 2016 at Ramoji Film City - Hyderabad, to honor and recognize responsible and sustainable CSR practices by an organization / an individual that had set new standards for others to follow. Mrs. Leena Deshpande & Dr. Borkar (Hyderabad) received the Award.

Bharat Forge was awarded with the prestigious 5th Annual Greentech CSR Award 2015 on 28th November, 2015 at Hyderabad. Mrs. Leena Deshpande had received this Award from the chief dignitary Mr. Kamleshwar Sharan – Chairman and CEO of Greentech Foundation. Mr. Y. S.
