Mr. Anand S. Pathak (DIN: 01529308) holds an LLB and MA from the University of Cambridge, along with an LLM and an MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University. He serves on the Company’s CSR Committee and chairs the Stakeholders' Relationship Committee.

A seasoned legal expert, he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, arbitration, and competition law. Licensed to practice in both the US and India, he has worked across multiple global financial and legal hubs, advising clients on cross-border transactions, private equity investments, and regulatory matters in European jurisdictions, the US and India.

With extensive experience in corporate law, Mr. Pathak has advised on several high-profile M&A deals, competition law cases, and free trade agreement negotiations. His arbitration expertise spans international disputes across key global arbitration centers. He currently represents the government-appointed board of IL&FS in asset sales, advises on competition law matters, and acts for the Government of India in bilateral investment treaty arbitrations. Recognized for his contributions to corporate law, he has received numerous accolades, including the National Law Day Award (2005), Best M&A Lawyer in India (2008-2023), India – Competition Lawyer of the Year (2013-2023), and the prestigious Indian Lawyer of the Decade Award in 2020.
