Welfare, safety training, health and improvement in living standards of its employees have almost figured topmost in BFL’s agenda. This mutual appreciation and understanding of each others ‘requirements and difficulties and more importantly, showing solidarity with which each other in the moments of need, have indeed added newer dimensions to the human and industrial relations at BFL.

TRAINING CENTRE

A well equipped group training centre with complete audio-visual facilities and in-house & external faculty imparts training on advanced skills on an ongoing basis. Shop floor training is also a formalised process at the training centre. The different types of trainings that are imparted are as follows :

BEHAVIORAL TRAINING

To prepare our employees for the changes that are taking place in the socio-economic Situation due to globalization we conduct behavioral training on the following topics :

  • Presentation Skills

TECHNICAL TRAINING - SKILL & PURPOSE BASED TRAINING

Training for technical skills is imparted through -

The Kalyani Group Community Centre is where the benefits of industrial progress are enjoyed by the employee and his/her family.
The centre is a space for social emancipation, recreation, and income generation. Run with a professional attitude toward community development, the activities of the community centre include:

Income generation for women

At the Community Centres, women stitch uniforms including shirts, trousers, boiler suits, aprons, and handgloves which cater to the in-house requirements of Bharat Forge.

 

Personality development camps

Day camps for the women include training in :

  • Health / Nutrition
  • Time Management
  • Bank / Postal Transactions
  • Dealing with Alcoholism

Skill development programmes

Cookery, painting, embroidery, purse/bag making and ceramic painting.

Medical check-ups

Well known, qualified doctors visit the community centers on a regular basis. This clinic helps in early detection of health problems.

Extracurricular activities

The community centre also organises excursions and competitions in cookery, interior decoration, and essay writing. Women are also encouraged to participate in drama and dance, besides festivities like Haldikumkum, Navratri, and Independence Day.

Camps for children

Personality Development Camps during vacations, include:

Study classes

Evening coaching for children are conducted by a trained teacher.

Home Management Course for adolescents

The Kalyani Group has initiated a Teacher's Training Programme for teachers from schools situated at Mundhwa, Hadapsar, and Vadgaonsheri.
