Bharat Forge as a group has taken several initiatives in the fields of education, health, green energy, community development and employee welfare.

EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES:

To bridge the gap between academics & Industry, Bharat Forge has decided to be industry partner to different engineering colleges. We deliver teaching expertise, coaching & training to the educational institutes. The company has been contributing significantly in the field of education by starting an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Pune, India. It has also adopted two Industrial Training Institute's in order to uplift the standard of education and infrastructure of the institutes.

PRATHAM PUNE EDUCATION FOUNDATION:

By establishing the 'Pratham Pune Education Foundation' (PPEF), Bharat Forge began the challenging task of making primary education accessible to the less fortunate. Over the past 10 years since its inception, PPEF has touched the lives of over 150,000 children in Pune and has become an important catalyst for women empowerment.

SPORTS & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:

LAKSHYA A TENNIS INITIATIVE

Bharat Forge has been supporting Lakshya since its inception. LAKSHYA (Looking at Knowledge in Sports and Help Youth Achieve) is a city based Non Profit Sports Organization which identifies and nurtures the talented sportspersons to help them achieve sporting glory. Lakshya is currently supporting over 30 budding sports champions in the six disciplines viz. Shooting, Chess, Tennis, Wrestling, Boxing & Cricket.

Bharat Forge is committed to support the Tennis endeavor, where we are sponsoring 5 Tennis players. Our sponsorship has helped the players to train abroad, and take part in events within the country and abroad. The players are already bringing laurels to the country with many national and international titles. It is sponsorships such as these, that we believe go a long way in contributing to the development of these young sports talent and also encourage them on the demanding path to the top.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:

The company provides opportunities for our staff to learn and develop. To help with this, we have developed three Community Development Centres that sponsor over 250 families in and around Pune. The centre is a space for social emancipation, recreation, and income generation for women. The center organizes personality development camps, medical check-ups, study classes and camps for children.

Very recently, Bharat Forge has funded a housing project for flood affected families at Koppal District in Karnataka. The project is spread over an area of 41 Acres with 395 independent houses.

EMPLOYEE INITIATIVE:

Employees from across departments have formed their teams & have chosen areas of interest. They spend quality time with the inmates of different institutes & NGOs.
