  To address the growing needs of the non-automotive sector, Bharat Forge setup its Heavy Forging Division.

The HFD production facilities in this division comprise of a Forge System with a 1600 ton double column pull down type oil hydraulic CNC press integrated with a rail-bound manipulator, turntable, automatic die shifting and die clamping.

Ingots of upto 17 tons can be handled in this facility. They are hot transferred from the melting shop of the neighbouring Kalyani Steels.
